Wall Lighthouse, Children and Families hosts Victoriaville

I've never talked about Lighthouse, Children and Families ? Lately, I have some projects with a view of children with degenerative disease. The occasion that I found myself out there to discover a paradise which hosts sick children. They make short stops at the Lighthouse, about giving parents a break and play a bit.

Last Thursday, the nonprofit organization celebrating its 10th anniversary. Home Andre Gratton as such is only open for 2 years but volunteers make home visits for a very long time. I was very excited to understand the courage, boldness and determination that investigators of the project had to demonstrate to put it all in motion.

They asked me to make them a work in homage to those who have been for ten years in this perilous journey but full of generosity and openness to others. I was very happy to tinker with their small models that encourage me to keep me strong as my experience with them.

And for those who have too much money, why not invest in this kind of question that really deserves them up our hats!

This is a long time that I wonder how such large quantities and qualities recognized sculptors find themselves Montpellier, a small village of indomitable outaouais almost incognito with this dynamism and originality which is not usual in this day and age.

While we do our best to get people to see this exhibition in this beautiful little corner of the country and I am is the first to be satisfied out of town for once. But I'm still a little surprised that big cities do not jump at the chance to invite them! This time, the center of Victoriaville SERIOUS artists came and they made a selection of 13 artists that I am truly honored to be any guest from Jacques Charbonneau founder Recycl'art , Armand Vaillancourt , Diana Boulay, Jean-Pierre Major Pascal Demonsand , Armand Destroismaisons , Daniel John Primeau, Daniel Guindon , Annie Forget, Normand Menard , Annick Schulz and Joanne Migneault .

So we spent a nice evening friendly discussion at the opening reception was held on November 6 last. But Expo runs until December 11, 2009 . Exit the town and go stretch your legs while visiting Quebec and at the same time Recycl'art or other fine exhibitions full of hidden treasures!

We often think that large cities have more to offer in culture, but I realize that this is not always the case. The complexity of selection at galleries and art centers, financing inventory, less space available, the possible lengthy sometimes make beautiful large exhibitions easier to realize outside the city. So do not wait more than the mountain come to you!
